We offer a breadth of Mental Health training services including to individuals and organisations including: MHFA and Mental Health Aware courses delivered by MHFA England Instructors; 1/2 Day i-act courses delivered by i-act Instructors; the design and delivery of bespoke change and wellbeing workshops.
Oyster Outcomes offers six online courses - four focused on Adult Mental Health and two focused on Youth Mental Health - which are approved by Mental Health First Aid England and i-act respectively, delivered via Zoom by our qualified Mental Health Practitioners.
Course 1 (approved by MHFA England, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health) - Mental Health First Aid Certificate - Aimed at anyone in your organisation who cares enough about others to learn how to spot the early warning signs, provide support and encourage appropriate professional help to find a way forward with someone experiencing a mental health issue. This course is delivered in four modules over a two week period, with a commitment to seven hours of self study in between courses. Once completed, delegates will be awarded with a Mental Health First Aid England First Aider Certificate. Note - we offer this course tailored to Adult mental health AND to Youth mental health.
Course 2 (approved by MHFA England, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health ) - Mental Health Aware - Aimed at anyone with an interest in upskilling their knowledge of Mental Health and Mental Health First Aid. We will take you through the key components of understanding what mental health is, and how Mental Health First Aid can provide early intervention and recognition of when a colleague is experiencing mental health challenges, and the expertise needed in how to best support that person. This course is delivered in a half day virtual environment and most likely to attract managers, leaders, CEOS and HRDs. Note - we offer this course tailored to Adult mental health AND to Youth mental health.
Course 3 (approved by i-act, accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists) - Managing and Promoting Mental Health and WELLbeing - Aimed at Managers seeking to learn more about Mental Health and how it affects employees. Aiming to enable managers to establish practical strategies to support employees who are experiencing mental health issues.
Course 4 (approved by i-act, accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists) - Understanding and Promoting Mental Health and WELLbeing in the Workplace - Aimed at all employees and front-line workers and designed to enable employees to have the appropriate tools to support one another when a colleague is experiencing mental health issues.
Bespoke Change and Wellbeing Courses - With our wealth of experience in the design and delivery of people focused development courses, we are well placed to consult with you, design and deliver, Change and Wellbeing workshops, which incorporate our knowledge of Mental Health issues, and strategies.
