“Matt Loftus was a fantastic teacher of the course. He was able to pull on his many experiences to enable us as a group to understand how to treat different situations. There was the right amount of group interaction/role play alongside PowerPoint and booklet learning styles.
The content was varied, at times difficult to hear but ultimately very relevant.
As a group we felt empowered to cope with different situations, we were given additional resources in the form of websites, support groups and helpline numbers that we could signpost employees. As a group we are also going to meet to maintain our own mental health which Matt explained was so important.
